Forging Fantasy That Lasts
Founded in 2025 by dark fantasy authors Alex Xanthe and Rainer Meri, Engrave Publishing was born out of a shared commitment to publish bold, carefully crafted stories that stand the test of time. Our journey began with our own debut novels, Inferno’s Silence, released in September 2025, and The Oracle of Ixic, to be released in January 2026.
We created Engrave to offer an alternative to trend-driven publishing. We focus on high-quality, literary fantasy: stories built with care, vision, and emotional resonance. These are not fast market grabs or algorithm-chasing releases. We publish works by authors who care deeply about the stories they tell and the worlds they build.
What We Publish
At Engrave Publishing, we seek high-concept, character-driven fantasy with literary depth. Our books often explore power, agency, and what it means to stay human in a world that aims to dehumanise you. We value originality, rich prose, and emotional honesty above genre formulas.
We’re a small press with a focused vision. We may not publish many books, but every one of them matters deeply to us, and we hope to readers too.

Our Process
Every Engrave title undergoes a professional editorial and design process to ensure quality from manuscript to final print. We care about the full reading experience, including content, layout, and presentation, and bring each work to completion with care and intention.
